Ummmmmmmmmmmm...

Apparantly Ken did not delete the whole thing by mistake- it was on purpose. Well now he's screwed because I grabbed it first and posted it below!!!

Guestbooks

So I'm chatting with my buddy Ken, and we're talking about how his guestbook on his website is a potential for trouble at his place of employment.

I figure you can never be too safe and that people tend to get their drawers in a bunch over stupid things.

He agreed and was attempting to edit an entry when he ditched the whole thing by mistake. Luckily, I've preserved his guestbook forever frozen in time here:

The one comment from Ken's cousin really makes this page standout!!!

My homage to the insane amount of stupidity I observe by people who just don't know how to drive!!!

Folks, there are really easy rules for driving through that crazy section of town- hopefully I can drive some traffic (no pun intended) to the site and make people aware.

I will get Ken to help, being a native of the area and all, I'm sure he has some great insight as to an SDP (standard driving procedure) for navigating Apponaug.

The best thing about this list is that it's all based on oficial transcripts posted on the Whitehouse website!

Particularly upsetting is the section where you can send a "Stoner Greeting Card"- "For when bad things happen because someone was stoned"

Wow

Then go here to see what the American Psychological Society has to say about all this hooey:

This is the story that led me to the link below- interesting as well. Different topic, but another example of how people's points of view are altered with misinformation.

Everyone should occasionally indulge in some Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee!

Holiday

Looks like I have the day off of work- and I get paid for it! It has been a rather uneventful holiday weekend. The weather has been nice though. I have been crackin' out on this asp.net book I have here, trying to pick up some new skills. I've made it about halfway through, and apparantly I'm not set up to finish the exercises. I'll save the details for a tech support forum somewhere, but it's annoying the hell out of me.

I've also started to read "A Wrinkle in Time"- I had actually read it in elementary school and all the memories are rushing back as I read it again. Great book, I think I read it in maybe 3rd or 4th grade, it's the kind of book that gets you thinking- especially at a young age.

Happy Memorial Day
