gmail swap: the swaps

So the new gmail thing has brought about another phenomenon- the gswap. What will you trade for 1GB of email storage?

This one is particularly funny...

OK ok, when did counting become so hard?!?!?!

Oh yeah

And I had some weird dreams last night. One involved a large building out in the woods that I have seen and been inside in other dreams. I went in with whoever was with me (I think my buddy Rob), and we went downstairs, typically a place in this building where I get a little anxious- has a weird air about it. This time the room was some kind of manufacturing area, and someone came out to meet us, a little old man. I think I remembered more this morning... should've done this then!!!

Recurring dreams/ themes in dreams/ places in dreams are weird...

Oh Boy

I think I've unleashed a shitstorm! I had a minor issue with one of the owners of the company I work for. Didn't think it was really a big deal, but apparantly he did! Some people argue in the strangest (or most effective, however you want to think about it) ways- it's almost like he pummelled me with anything and everything he could think of, and then presented a solution that was detrimental to me!

I give up- I'm thinking now that I never should have said anything in the first place. I didn't really expect to gain anything, but when my simple question was avoided, I started to act like the ball buster I am. S'pose it's my own fault then...

Maybe if I start to get some hits on google for Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, I'll be in better shape.

Well written article.

After you read it, perhaps you should order up some gourmet coffee.

Hello Search Engines...

Here is my fun paragraph devoted entirely to promoting other people's sites- a few of which are my own.

If you're in the market for web design, look no further than Logical Progression Web Solutions. We can help you come up with a web solution to fit any need. We have experience in desiging e-commerce sites including an online coffee catalog where they sell micro roasted coffee roasted fresh daily. There are a number of different single origin coffees available including Jamaican Blue Mountain and Puerto Rican Yauco Selecto (my favorite!).

There's also the new Apponaug Rhode Island dot Com, my latest creation. Go there and be amused.

I'll keep it coming no doubt...

Dreaming last night...

I know I haven't documented any dreams in a while, but I haven't really been remembering too much up until today.

First though I'll share the tale of my travels this weekend. I took a ride down to New York City on Friday for my buddy's going away party. It was at a cool place called "La Caverna", a basement spot that was had a cavern like ceiling and walls- looked kind of like lemon meringue though. Seems the 80's are alive and well in NYC. Probably saw about a dozen pleated skirts and a whole lot of trucker hats and pointy shoes. The pointy shoes that the girls wear kill me though- the rest of the stuff I can deal with, but those style of shoes are ugly!!! Dangly earrings, gym shorts, and ringer t-shirts with Fleetwood Mac tour dates from 1982 were worn proudly far and wide.

All in all, it was an interesting weekend. Drove back yesterday and slept long and hard last night.

And so I had these weird dreams...

The first one put me at a store buying lottery tickets. I saw 4 $5 tickets, each with ticket numbers with having a seven in them, or within the first four of the ticket roll. Someone told me the other day that tickets with those characteristics have a higher probability of winning (this happened in real life). They're obviously crazy, but I never got a chance to scratch them off in dream.

Then I woke up.

The next dream (or maybe it was the one before it?) had me in flying mode cruising over the city. I was contorted like a video game character with both arms out, one leg straight, and one leg with my thigh perpendicular to my hips and my knee bent at a right angle. I'll try to find or draw a picture to illustrate this- it's rather humorous. I could propel myself through the air by switching which leg was bent. This all happened in a jerking motion much like the old video games where the graphic would just switch to the opposite motion without any transition. The burst I would get from doing this was like a squid in the water- actually, it was just like the character "Bloober" in the original Super Mario Brothers on 8-bit Nintendo. I would get a quick burst of forward motion (while airborne), and then slow down quickly before switching my legs and getting another burst. I was cruising over a bunch of cars, and it was as if people couldn't see me, I was just able to observe them going about their daily tasks.

Two vivid dreams in one night- a rare occurrence indeed!

That deserves some good coffee... perhaps I will try some of this Guatemalan Tikal I have here...
